Crop Rotation

Crop rotation is very important, even on the smallest plots. Planting the same veg. in the same spot time after time will cause problems. Soil living pests and diseases that thrive on the crop will get worse and the soil itself will become unbalanced. So don't do it! Basically have a three year plan, as above, swapping the various crops each year from 1 to 3, after the 3rd year revert back to year 1.

This is a picture of the radish I planted out last weekend. I grew from seed in a small plastic greenhouse in my front garden, greenhouse was an impulse buy from Asda, but has been useful.
